**About the Role**:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to provide dedicated care for our client, a 35-year-old man living in Nottingham. The role involves 18-hour per week, 1:1 support, both in the client's home and in the community. The client does not require any personal care or moving and handling but does require support with accessing the community. Experience with challenging behaviour is crucial.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the client with daily living activities.
- Driving and cccomypanying the client on outings and social activities.
- Assisting the client with money management.
- Encourage the client to try new activities.
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment in the client's home.
- Working closely with the client's family and other care team members.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
- A confident and sensitive approach to care, with respect for the client's independence.
- Experience in supporting individuals with challenging behaviours and brain injury or similar conditions is preferred.
- A full, valid UK driving license.
- Ability to empathise with the client and support appropriately.
- Preference for non-smokers.

**Experience**:

- professional care (working for a care provider in the UK): 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- right to work full time in the UK without sponsorship (required)
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (required)
