**The role**
**The difference our new Mechanical Engineer will make**

As a Mechanical Engineer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be working on a variation of Defueling Projects. This is intended to achieve Fuel Free Verification for the client's reactors.
Day to day, you'll be working at our Heysham 1 site. You will be handling the full project lifecycle such as work order cards, risk assessments, method statements, quality plans, construction plans, engineering changes and other documentation required to deliverprojects. In addition you will also be involved with the hands on design.

**Essential experience**:

- A degree or similar in Mechanical Engineering
- HND in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of the full life cycle of a project
- Experience in Nuclear, water, petrochemical, or any other highly regulated industries.
