Corporate Security Officer

**Job Purpose**

We are seeking a highly experienced individual who has an extensive knowledge in corporate security and security control room operations within a prestigious development in the heart of Soho.

This is a full-time contract working on a rolling shift pattern: first week Saturday to Sunday (07:00 to 19:00), Monday to Wednesday (19:00 to 07:00) then second week Saturday to Sunday (07:00 to 19:00), Monday to Tuesday (19:00 to 07:00).

We offer a competitive pay rate of £13.15 with a holiday entitlements of 25.2 days inclusive of bank holidays.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver a 5-star guest experience at all times
- Anticipate clients' requirements and ensure their expectations are met and exceeded each day
- Maintain a high security awareness at all times and adopt a proactive approach to situations as they develop
- Be seen as a visible customer focused professional by being proactive and greet clients and visitors where possible
- Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered
- Loading Bay management
- Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
- Oversee and manage any emergency evacuations in your respective area of responsibility and be prepared to make difficult decisions in fast developing emergency situations
- Undertake patrols and inspections in accordance with management instructions.
- Complete a full detailed handover at the end of each shift
- Cover the Security Controller position on interim basis for holiday and other absences.

**Person Specification**
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor and SIA CCTV licence required
- Professional, highly driven, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated team player
- Reliable and alert when working night shifts
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels
- Ability to work independently with confidence, using own initiative as required, especially in highly dynamic emergency situations
- Look for opportunities to enhance client/visitor experience
- Clear, concise and confident communication skills which are customer service orientated with a very keen eye for detail
- Confidence and common sense to access and utilise expert resources when making decisions
- Maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all times
- Have an acute sense of security awareness
- 5 years of continuous work employment history without gaps and verifiable work history
- Provide support to the wider team when required.
