An exciting opportunity has become available to join our vibrant team at Perthyn.

We are looking to recruit a proactive, organised, and reliable Finance /Payroll clerk to join our team. This is a unique role in Perthyn working across the two functions which will provide you with the opportunity to expand your knowledge across both areas.

This opportunity will involve the responsibility to work to the highest standards, ensure that we provide accurate information to both departments.

**What you’ll do**
- Sales ledger, producing and processing monthly invoicing.
- Supporting regions and managers with all finance queries, monitoring hours, HB checks and any other duties
- Resolving payroll discrepancies
- Timesheet entry
- Processing holiday, sick, maternity pay etc.
- Processing all requests in a timely manner Processing and paying expenses
- Processing and paying expenses
- General administration and other duties as requested by management
- Filing and processing paperwork

**What you'll need**
- Experience as a payroll clerk is desirable.
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Office i.e., word, excel, access and outlook
- The ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of payrolls at the same time
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a focus on providing good customer service
- Good attention to detail
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently
- Experience of using a bespoke payroll package
- Formal training/qualification in payroll or AAT
- Good standard of IT literacy.
