The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive testing and development company who boast state of art facilities and offers testing to their customers across the transport, tyre, petrochemical, defence and security industries who are seeking a SeniorTechnician - Safety Systems to join the team on a permanent basis.

You will be working in the crash laboratories, a close-knit engineering function where the team are passionate about safety, customer service and technical excellence.
You will be responsible for delivering safety systems tests with the support of technicians in an engineering lead environment. You will be responsible for liaising with the customer and/or witnessing authority to establish testing requirements. You will thenalso prepare, execute and report on safety systems tests while advising customers on test methods and processes.
The day-to-day duties include:

- Establishing test content including review and inclusion of regulatory requirements
- Preparing internal test execution documentation and liaise with customer and internal operations group
- Responsibility for correct and complete execution of test
- Supporting with continuous improvement initiatives
- Pre and post-test measurements & determination of results
- Report, review and authorise results.

What we are looking for:

- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering apprenticeship
- Sound knowledge of mechanical principles associated with vehicle and component safety testing
- Knowledge of high speed data and video capture

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading testing and development company who offer services to their clients who are at the forefront of what they do. This role would be working a day shift Monday-Friday.
