The Academic Quality Unit is a small team with big ambitions. Our mission is to drive excellence through a high quality, knowledgeable and professional support service that maintains standards and underpins a consistently outstanding student experience.This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and help to develop and manage the quality assurance and enhancement processes at UCEM.

Your key responsibilities will centre around:

- Managing the quality assurance events for our programmes, including validation and approval events, and periodic review and re-validation;
- Seeking accreditation and re-accreditation of programmes with PSRBs;
- Helping to maintain our higher education academic infrastructure;
- Drafting policies and regulations and writing reports, as well as taking minutes;
- Supporting module and programme amendment processes;
- Running the student complaints and appeals process.

You will interact with a wide number of internal and external stakeholders, so communication and relationship-building skills are a must. Strong planning and organisation skills are critical, as well as the ability to maintain focus on deadlines and payattention to detail. Experience of quality assurance, standards, and/or compliance is desirable but not essential and you must have the confidence to take full ownership of your areas of responsibility.
