Industrial Placement: Recruitment Marketing

This industrial placement opportunity is for a period of 10 to 12 months (ideally starting in July), during which, you will have the opportunity to support our Early Careers Talent Acquisition team with their recruitment marketing strategy.

Our early careers team is responsible for the recruitment of graduates, apprentices, and placement students for all our UK and Ireland based offices across a variety of business units. Our team of seven are based across two locations: Croydon and Birmingham, so you have the option to work in either office, with some travel between the two, as well as the opportunity for remote working.

How we market our brand to students as an employer of choice is hugely important. This has a direct impact on our ability to attract and hire a high-volume of students each year. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing student to gain industry experience. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about recruitment marketing; you’ll have the chance to work closely with our central marketing team; and you’ll have the opportunity to use your creativity to support us on an engaging early careers marketing campaign for the next early careers intake.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Brand management: Working with our central recruitment marketing and our wider global marketing teams to agree on the branding for our early careers recruitment campaign for next season.
- Campaign management: Ensure that all branding is consistent across our campaign working with our external suppliers and internal stakeholders to include: our early careers website; external graduate job boards; brochures; banners; and PowerPoint presentations etc
- Video creation: working with our external providers you will improve and replace our existing early careers videos and create engaging content
- Marketing for university and school events: Support the early careers team with preparation for the university career fairs during October and November and school events throughout the year: booking the events; liaising with our logistics company; ordering the resources; identifying volunteers around the business to attend events and promoting via social media channels
- Job advert writing: Review our early careers job adverts and, working with the business, make improvements where required

To join us for this industrial trainee placement you must currently be studying a marketing or similar degree at University.
