**The Role**
To be successful in this role you should have an?understanding of managing complex SaaS delivery projects, while being a consultative and customer-centric leader.
An understanding of cloud technologies?is essential for this role, and?previous experience of delivering projects within our product portfolio would be advantageous.
The post holder will be an effective senior manager and team player with the ability to manage effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Demonstrating personal commitment and accountability to ensure standards are continuously sustained and improved both within our teams and with our customers, partner organisations and suppliers.
The accountabilities of the role are to lead, co-ordinate, manage and deliver the activities required from the professional services team (including Delivery, Quality Assurance and Support):
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to the Professional Services department
- Be accountable for the department achieving its objectives around revenue, quality, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Lead in the setting, execution, and measurement of the department team via KPI’s (Financial and Operational)
- Managing service partners and suppliers in conjunction with delivery SoW’s and requirements
- Building solid relationships with our customers, partners and suppliers
- Accurate reporting of the delivery and service portfolio performance to CEO and MD
- Full ownership for the successful delivery of the professional services and support services contracts
- Co-create and be accountable for the design and execution of weekly, monthly, quarterly delivery targets and status reporting
- Overseeing and driving the adoption of the department vision, goals, and cultures
- Oversee and hold accountability for the Quality Management and Servicing standards across the organisation
- Utilise analytics tools to provide performance analysis of the department
- Ensure successful resolution of delivery and partner escalations to our customer’s satisfaction or acceptance
- Through organisational design, identify and execute on the hiring and retention of talent in the department
**The Person**:
- 4+ years of delivery, or other applicable project management experience.
- Extensive experience of leading mid-market or enterprise multi-stream programmes in complex, multiple stakeholder, matrix managed technology environments.
- Substantial commercial acumen; adept and experienced in strict project budget management and ensuring customer adherence to invoicing deadlines in line with expectations.
- Significant knowledge and experience of enterprise mid-market or enterprise IT projects.
- Knowledge and expertise of shaping programmes and projects utilising a variety of delivery frameworks, methodologies and tools.
- Very strong influencing skills and ability to communicate complex technologies and processes in a clear and coherent way.
- Experience delivering projects in a partner or outsourced environment, liaising with multiple business units, conflicting priorities and projects (both internal and external service providers and suppliers) at the same time.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and high growth business environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong Executive presence and presentation delivery
- Passionate about coaching and developing people.
- Strong ability to learn quickly, represent concepts and summarize complex ideas with a sense of how sales consultants think, operate, and absorb training
**The Company**
Established in over 5 years ago my client are a specialist consultancy working on the integration and of financial software into a range of businesses, including development of automated tools and other bespoke features.
They are based in the centre of Newcastle, operating a hybrid working model ideally looking for 2 days in the office, offering a varied and challenging working environment.
