An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Fellow to join the MFT Thoracic Surgery service, based at Wythenshawe Hospital. The post has been created following expansion of lung cancer screening services across Greater Manchester, and at a time of considerable growth for the Thoracic Surgery service, which remains one of the largest lung surgery centres within the UK and the only service in Greater Manchester.
It is an exciting time to join our team. Our Thoracic Surgery team will be performing more than 900 anatomical lung resections per year and around 50% of those resections are performed using mínimally invasive techniques, including Robotically Assisted Thoracic Surgery (RATS).
