**Unqualified - Salary £18,516pa - Band 3 SCP 2 - (pro rata for part time posts)**

**Hourly Rate £9.60 (Pay award Pending)**

**Applicants must have**: A minimum of one years’ experience of working with adults in a residential, community or voluntary capacity.

**Unqualified** - **Applications will be considered from people who do not hold an NVQ or Diploma level 2 in Health & Social Care but are able to demonstrate a minimum of 12 months’ experience within Social Care.** **You will be expected to undertake and achieve the qualification within 18th months of obtaining the post, this is fully funded qualification.

**Qualified** - **Applications are invited from people who have a minimum of N.V.Q level 2 or Health & Social Care Diploma or Equivalent.

- Can carry out household tasks relating to the care of the individuals and promote involvement.
- Have the ability to communicate (Verbal and written) with a variety of people including the use of assistive technologies.
- Are flexible and can respond to situations and challenging behaviours.
- Have the ability to stimulate and encourage meaningful daily living activities.
- Are able to assist people to access community resources.
