**BASIC PURPOSE**

IES is looking for a proactive, self-motivated experienced Travel Coordinator to join the Operations Team on a full-time, the permanent basis, reporting to the Operations Supervisor. The primary purpose of the role is to provide travel coordination for IES personnel.

**KEY TASKS**
- Administering travel in accordance with Job Owner and/or direct Travel Requests, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate & provided in a timely manner to personnel travelling
- Researching travel arrangements, maximising efficiency & controlling costs, whilst ensuring minimum quality standards & traveler requirements are adhered to
- Researching & coordinating key suppliers, preferential rates, long-stay discounts & loyalty programmes
- Maintaining travel-related accounts & logins, including associated spreadsheets
- Recording & reconciling department credit card transactions
- Providing general administrative support to the department
- May be required to complete other business activities on behalf of the company from time to time in line with identified skills, competencies and experience

- Exceptional organisational skills with very high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, anticipate and respond effectively to changing priorities
- Flexible, conscientious attitude to work
- High standard of written & verbal communication, with a confident & professional phone manner
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, focused & productive in a fast-paced working environment
- Comfortable working autonomously
- IT literate, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook

**Special Working Conditions**

Additional hours, including occasional weekend support, may be necessary from time to time when required to suit business needs.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
