**Overview**:
This is a full-time position which will provide a structured experience.

They will be involved in the design and build of solutions using relevant technologies used by GCC and its partners to maintain underlying business processes and/or continuity of service to enable the delivery of desired outcomes.

**Salary**:
£14,108 per annum.

**The Role / Duties**:
The team is responsible for managing incidents, requests and supporting projects from a wide range of internal customers including the following workstreams:

- Implantation of new systems
- 3rd line technical support for critical systems in Education and Social Care
- Deploy and Support Software upgrades
- Integration between systems
- Data reporting and extracts
- Data conversion and manipulation
- Assist with procurement of solutions.
- Development projects
- Inform Council IT policies and strategy

While undergoing the QA’s Junior Developer Level 3 apprenticeship programme you will be involved in simple design requirements of a project under supervision and implement code already developed to produce required components.

**Entry requirements**:
7 GCSE's total:

- English GCSE grade D or above
- Other 6 GCSE's, including Maths, to be C or above

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
