As a sales assistant, you will work with your colleagues, on a 6-hour shift, to ensure a high quality customer experience is maintained; we pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and maintaining outstanding store conditions.**

**As a sales assistant, your role will include, but will not be limited to, the following tasks**:

- **Provide exceptional customer service on the till, handling cash/card payments, and ensuring all till procedures are carried out in a correct and precise manner.**:

- **Maintain an outstanding store condition, including cleaning, visual merchandising standards and price labelling.**:

- **Carry out health and safety checks when needed and making sure all equipment in the store are in good working order.**:

- **Report any issues that require instant attention to the manager.**:

- **Count, quality check and correctly store deliveries.**:

- **Carry out all relevant checks before and after your shift, as well as all store opening and closing routines.**

**Although no experience is needed for this role, as full training will be provided, what we are looking for is someone with the following skills**:

- **Excellent time management, and knows how to prioritise some tasks over others at certain times.**:

- **Conscientious, always arrives on time, handles cash competently and strives for high standards of store cleanliness.**:

- **Eager to learn with a hands on approach and ready to carry out any tasks required in all different areas of the store.**:

- **Must be flexible, available to work different shifts including evenings and weekends.**:

- **Access to own means of transport, and flexibilty, due to opening and closing times of the store, which are 5:30am and 11pm respectively.**:

- **Must be 18 or over due to sale of alcohol and cigarettes.**
