**Summary of functions**:
To ensure that all product conforms to customer drawings and specifications. Perform Inspection using multiple measurement devices ranging from handheld equipment (Micrometers, Verniers, Plug & Thread gauges) to Shadowgraphs, Height Gauges, Trimos CMMs, Faro Arms, Hommel, Profilometer, Surface Testers, Keyence etc. Complete First Article Reports to the AS9102 standard. Assess and decipher SPC/Capability data and react accordingly. Work to Inspection Control Plans.

**This role will include**:

- Carry out First Offs, In-Process, Goods Inwards and Final Inspection to customer drawings and specifications
- Prepare and carry out FAIR’s to AS9102
- Support all Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 as well as all required company, customer and regulatory ruling and process
- Roving inspection
- Support company Red Table/RCCA activities
- Vital/Flight Safety Part release
- Work to and achieve compliance in-line with AS9100 as well as all required company, customer and regulatory ruling and process
- Keep the workspace clean and organised (5s). Clean and maintain the work area and equipment including tools
- Ensure correct authorities (training and skills) are in place to carry out the role under the regulations of the QMS
- Able to report out inspection findings to senior management upon request

**Skills and experience required**:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understand GD&T
- FAIR creation/completion to AS9102
- Indentured Apprenticeship (Preferable) or equivalent
- (preferred) Familiar with the inspection of complex aerospace parts (preferred) Familiar with the use/programming of relevant equipment, CMM’s, Faro Arms etc
- (preferred) Familiar with Modus CMM programming language
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced manufacturing business environment

**39 hours per week**
**Monday to Thursday 7.30am until 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am until 12.30pm**
