Senior Repair Executive

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Responsible for repair management from raising repair orders, and quote reviews, to return of parts from repair in the agreed TAT** **and within budget.
- Overseeing major component repair / overhaul contracts to ensure projects are tracked / milestones achieved and delivered on time.
- Analyzing technical workshop reports to validate that work being quoted meets the technical requirements of the repair order and customer requirements.
- Reviewing potential new suppliers and workshops for collaborations that will best suit Gamit and customer requirements for cost and TAT.
- Liaising with current workshops to secure suitable TAT guarantees and cost-effective pricing for new and existing component repairs.
- Start the major component tendering process to present the contract offer and GTA to the materials manager with any recommendations.
- Repair / Scrap replacement review for components once technical quote has been received.
- Work within our ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 management systems and contribute to ongoing review and development of company procedures.
- Provide support and mentorship to staff within the materials team.
- Contribute to building a customer base and the capture of new clients and to ensure that existing customers receive excellent customer service in all interactions
- Procure and place orders on behalf of the company to support customer operational requirements.
- Expedite open orders to achieve on-time delivery.
- Manage AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations effectively and in a speedy manner.
- Evaluate and recommend suppliers to quality and industry-approved standards.
- Work with existing and potential suppliers, securing the best price through effective negotiations and collaboration to achieve business objectives.
- Demonstrate, develop, and maintain excellent stakeholder/supplier relationships with people at all levels.
- Adhere to Gamit Limited’s processes and procedures
- Understand and adhere to Export Control regulations where relevant.

**Qualifications**:

- Previously worked as a Repair Executive in aviation.
- GCSE Maths and English at C grade.
- Aerospace-related qualifications would be an advantage.
- Familiar with different currencies and conversions.
- Clean driver’s license and passport.

- To be highly motivated, flexible, outgoing and persuasive, a team player with accomplished negotiation skills and a success-orientated personality.
- Familiar with communicating with people worldwide who speak English as a second language.
- Ability to present our customers with the best service and solution at that point.
- Any second language may be an advantage.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (aviation background would be preferable) with a good track record and is willing to go the extra mile.
- He/she is currently working in a similar role.
- In addition, the right applicant must have experience in cost estimating, related aviation terminology and a sound knowledge of the repair processes preferred.
