We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join our team. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and assisting with various tasks in the optical department. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in the healthcare industry and have a passion for helping others

Duties
- Assist customers with frame selection, lens options, and other optical needs
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes for proper fitting of frames and lenses
- Order and track eyewear and contact lenses for customers
- Adjust and repair frames as needed
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, specifically related to the eyes
- Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £49.90-£74.29 per day

Expected hours: 14 - 21 per week
