Bartender/server

**Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/ Server to join our vibrant team. You will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable experience for our guests by providing exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Your knowledge of bartending techniques, hospitality, and food safety will contribute to the overall atmosphere of our establishment.

We can guarantee 10 hours a week minimum, however we will be offering around 20-30 hours each week.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all licensing laws.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Uphold food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in bartending or hospitality roles is preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
