**Overview**
Our client is looking for some Software Developers with JavaScript or.NET skills and experience. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high quality software products and services that are critical to enabling the companyto deliver responsive, robust and secure software products that satisfy both business and end user requirements. You will work to uphold a passionate engineering culture through techniques of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement and knowledgesharing.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Work end to end across the full technology stack in either JavaScript or.NET development stacks (.NET Core, Angular, Node.js, and Typescript) to build and maintain software products.
- Participate in a culture of pair programming, code reviews, writing technical specifications and collaborating closely with other people.
- Collaborate with Design, Quality Assurance and other developers to understand users’ needs and refine technical solutions.
- Identify and raise changes to aide continuous improvement within the software development lifecycle.
- Where required support the Product Owner/ Manager with respect to agile ceremonies such as planning, review, refinement and maintaining the product backlog.
- Where required collaborate with external suppliers, partners and customers.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in software engineering.
- The job holder may also be asked to undertake other duties outside of this job description that are commensurate with their skills and experience, including tasks delegated by the Software Development Manager and other management staff
**Skills & experience required**:

- Fundamental understanding of either.NET or JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular
- Commercial experience developing with one of the following languages:.NET, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript.
- Experience developing SQL and/ or other database technologies
- Experience or fundamental understanding of developing on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure
- Knowledge and experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Knowledge of core development principles such as separation of concerns to write clear, testable code
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
- Experience working with agile software development methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
