We have a new opportunity for a **Lead Operative** to work with Wire Drawing Manager to ensure maximum output and efficiency of wire production whilst maintaining quality standards.

The Lead Operative will be engaging and lead the team providing support, mentoring and guidance fully supporting the Wire Drawing Manager.

**Nights only. Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out team briefs as and when required
- Ensure all operatives are in their working areas on time and working efficiently
- Ensure down time in these areas is kept to a minimum and authorised and the escalation process is followed
- Resolve operational problems liaising with the Wire Drawing Manager
- Monitor quality of products, ensure all quality procedures are being correctly adhered to and feed back to the workforce - liaising with quality team, making adjustments where necessary
- Working with Wire Drawing Manager to ensure standards of behaviour, appearance and discipline are maintained in section
- Provide a detailed handover to the oncoming shift Lead Operative
- As and when required additional duties of a Process Operative to be carried out.

**Skills & Experience required**:

- An experienced wire production operative
- H&S awareness
- FLT B1 and B2
- PICC trained
- First aid & Fire Marshall or willing to take course
- Displays integrity Promotes teamwork
- Ability to lead by example
- Communicates and influences co-workers effectively
- Possesses a positive can-do attitude

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
