We have an exciting new HR Business Partner role working for one of Bath's top employers.

**The role
The role has come about due to internal promotion and offers the chance to join a supportive and respected team. Supporting a designated client group you will focus on strategic HR, providing resources and building relationships to enable the delivery ofobjectives set out by the organisation whilst also developing capability and culture. You will be a key member of senior leadership teams, understanding and contributing to organisational strategy, management, and output.

This is a wide-ranging role, and you will undertake the role of strategic planner, facilitator, trainer, coach, expert advisor, project manager and critical friend. The postholder will also provide key HR input to specific projects and programmes outsideof specified client departments.

Reporting into the Deputy Director of HR, responsibilities will include:

- Supervising an HR Advisor, ensuring they maintain their continuous professional development and are developed to maximise their performance in their role
- Ensuring the provision of a consistent, professional, risk-based, business focussed HR service
- Creating, consulting, and implementing innovative HR solutions, responding flexibly and quickly to customer needs
- Contributing to the development of managerial and leadership capability and increasing the effectiveness of people management across the business
- Ensuring the effective management of staff performance and behavioural issues
- Advising and supporting managers in the effective management of change, working with Trade Union representatives and staff to deliver required changes i
- Leading the development of new approaches, frameworks, policies, procedures, and guidance to implement key elements of the Workforce Strategy

**Person Specification**
- CIPD qualified
- Track record of building strong collaborative relationships with senior business leaders
- Successful track record of achieving results in HR management or BP role in diverse medium to large organisation
- Experience and strong track record of delivery of change projects, employee relations and workforce development
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate others
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively
- Effective coaching skills
- Ability to understand business objectives and identify the HR interventions required to achieve these
- Strong team player
- Ability to identify, design and facilitate learning and development solutions
- Critical thinker
- Good IT skills

**Salary
£43,400 - £51,800 plus benefits
