Children's Residential Support Worker
£22500 plus potential bonus
Brook Street Social Care are delighted to be working alongside a children's residential provider who has an established home in the south and is looking to open a home in the Teesside area.
The provider is looking to assemble a team of experienced and excellent young people support workers, senior support and deputies to provider the best care to the children who will be placed to live in the home by a local authority from anywhere in the country.
You will be part of a team who will assess what care and support is needed for each individual young person. You will help draw up support plans and risk assessment plans as part of the young person's package of care. Along with the team, you will help delivereach plan that is agreed and drawn up with the input of each child.
As a support worker, experience with working with young people is highly preferable, but other residential support with a relevant level 3 would be considered.
Along with the competitive salary, a bonus of £1000-£1500 is achieved if the home gets an Ofsted rating of either Good or Outstanding, which is what is expected of the organisation as they want to provide the best care available to the young people whose homeit is.
