We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to join us on a full time, permanent basis at our M&S site in Stoke-on-Trent. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm but as this is a 24/7 site some flexibility will be required on occasions, afterall this is Logistics

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £ 38,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Implement innovative, modern ways of developing individuals within their current roles, while actively contributing to the succession planning and talent management on site
- Support the delivery of the core people process
- Day to day management of the training team, ensuing operational requirements are met in an efficient manner
- Responsible for creating your own content - e.g. identify a gap and create something to support the solution

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experienced L&D lead from a logistics background who has successfully delivered professional development
- Strong leadership skills that can work at a busy pace whilst being able to influence others and be a self-starter
- Experience of designing and delivering robust projects and task plans, plus monitoring and evaluating the results
- Excellent communicator across several boundaries, with the ability to build long term client relationships
