**Salary from £62,495 to £72,152 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £79,809 pa inclusive of London allowance**

LSE’s Extended Education department is at a pivotal moment of transformation, and we are looking for a dynamic **Head of Operations** to lead our business-critical functions. This is a rare opportunity to shape the operational and financial structures that will underpin our ambitious growth, ensuring the smooth running of the **EMFSS and Summer School programmes**, while steering key transitional arrangements with Lifelong Learning.

In this high-impact role, you will provide strategic leadership across **finance, planning, HR, and systems**, managing both business-as-usual operations and major change projects. You will play a central role in embedding new frameworks, working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive efficiency and innovation.

We are looking for a **proven leader** with significant experience in operational management within a complex environment, ideally within higher education. You will bring expertise in **financial oversight, change management, and strategic planning**, with a track record of delivering large-scale operational transitions. Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential.
