Searles Leisure Group is a distinguished, family-run business with a rich history spanning over many successful years. The group proudly owns and manages two prominent establishments on the captivating North Norfolk coast: Searles Leisure Resort and Heacham Manor Hotel.

**Searles Leisure Resort**

For more than 83 years, Searles Leisure Resort has been a beacon of holiday experiences on the 'Sunny Hunny' coast. Nestled south of Hunstanton, the resort offers an array of accommodations, including over 360 Owners, 150 hire fleet options, and 200 tourer and tent pitches. Graded 5 stars by Visit England, Searles boasts outstanding facilities such as a spacious Clubhouse, diverse restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and an impressive 18- and 9-hole golf course. Recognized as the Norfolk and Suffolk Camping/Glamping and Holiday Park winner for 2020, Searles Leisure Resort continues to create lasting memories for its guests.

**Heacham Manor Hotel**

Situated in picturesque parkland, Heacham Manor Hotel is a 52-bedroom, 3-star luxury country house hotel and golf club. Offering a sophisticated experience, the hotel features a popular AA Rosette Restaurant. Its strategic location provides easy access to the stunning North Norfolk beaches, the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton, and the Royal Sandringham Estate. As part of the Searles Leisure Group, Heacham Manor Hotel contributes to the group's legacy of delivering exceptional hospitality and unparalleled service.

**Salary**:up to £26, 000 per annum

**Contract & Hours of Work**

Permanent contract, 42.5 hrs per week (yearly average) over 5 days, including weekends and bank holiday working.

**Please note, we are a 7-day a week operation in the peak periods. Some shifts will include, split shifts, weekends, and some public / bank holidays on a rota basis.**

**Job responsibilities**

**-**Carrying out general maintenance and planned preventative maintenance tasks as requested by the maintenance manager/supervisor or administrator, keeping detailed and up to date maintenance records.
- Complete repairs and install replacement parts; reporting any changes required.
- Maintain building accessibility and appearance, including removing ice and snow from walkways and parking areas, painting, and general maintenance.
- Complete special requests such as moving files and boxes, moving furniture, preparing rooms for meetings and completing repairs and installing replacement parts.
- Maintain internal and external buildings, equipment and fixtures etc.
- Carrying out and completing tasks to resolve maintenance issues.
- Maintain on-site workshop and all tools and equipment in good working order.
- Provide support and assistance to the Maintenance Manager and complete tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Report defects (equipment, building, lighting and fabric) to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- To perform any other related activity, as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor, necessary to fulfil the purpose of the role as described above.
- Carrying out project works, such as hire fleet refurbishment and department upgrades.
- Maintain sewage drainage system.
- Ensure that the operating procedures are carried out as scheduled and records kept.
- Carry out essential maintenance work, equipment checks, including daily and routine maintenance and ensure safe operation of machinery, and vehicles.

**Requirements**:

- Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to the use of Company Vehicles
- Maintenance experience of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and property maintenance
- Experience of HVAC systems, Waste Management, Electrical and Gas Safe Registered (Desirable)
- Computer literate
