We are seeking a Weekend Porter to join an established portering team to help deliver a 1st class service within an NHS setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to join an organisation which has patient safety and care at the very heart ofits working practices.

The aim of the role is to provide a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors and to contribute to preventing and reducing the spread of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAIs).

As part of the role, you would be required to communicate effectively with departmental managers & colleagues to ensure to smooth delivery of the service.

You will be:

- Moving patients in either a wheelchair or bed from one area of the hospital to another.
- Collecting equipment from ward areas to be taken for cleaning in holding area.
- Helping deliver items to ward areas from holding area.
- Helping move other goods, equipment as outlined by the manager
- Complying with policies and procedures

Due to the requirements of the role, the successful applicant will be required to spend large parts of the working day on their feet.

**Shift pattern**:
**Saturday & Sunday - 17:00-01:00**

**Total of 15 hours per week.**
