Exeter, United Kingdom National Trust Full time

Research has been happening across the National Trust for over a century, and is key to helping us look after and bring to life the special places in our care. We now have an exciting opportunity to join two of the teams who help make this happen. We’re looking for a highly motivated person to join us as a Research Officer, to support both our Central & South West Research Teams. If you like to multitask and are looking to work with a wide range of Trust colleagues and university partners on different activities, this might be the role for you. We are looking for someone with strong project management and administrative skills, capable of progressing a range of activities. This role is offered at 30 hours per week for twelve months, starting ASAP. What it's like to work here:The Research teams work in partnership with Trust colleagues and external partners to develop and support excellent research that benefits the Trust’s work. Our varied work takes us across many research-active departments and specialists, and ranges from coordinating internal funding schemes through to large research projects. We're committed to supporting a flexible working approach and to promoting a healthy work/life balance, so are happy to discuss specific working patterns with you. The role may involve occasional travel to other offices (reasonable travel expenses covered) to meet with stakeholders and to carry out work.
