Could you help people with a learning disability or mental health needs to develop a more fulfilling life?** Our Forensic Service team within the Greater Manchester area support people with learning disabilities who have been through the custodial system. We support them to live a life that makes sense to them. We are looking to recruit a team to support two gentleman who will be new to the service. Simon* will need some support with mobility issues and David has a visual impairment. You will help them develop independence around the tasks of everyday living such as cooking, cleaning, and paying bills, at the same time as supporting them with their health and wellbeing, including mental health. Amongst the people we support there are some pool players, fishing enthusiasts and bike riders. Some people attend work placements and college courses. What they all have in common is wanting to live a better life. We are looking forward to getting know David and Simon and finding out what a meaningful life looks like for them. This is an exciting opportunity for the staff team to be part of this amazing journey where we truly make a difference to someone's life. We will need fun loving energetic people who have a zest for life who will bring new ideas and are able to contribute in a positive way to someone's life **We are looking for full - time 37.5 hours or part-time 30 hours per week.
