A global retailer and AI-powered intelligence platform is looking for a Head of Machine Learning who is an expert in optimizing ML capabilities.

**THE COMPANY**

This multinational company is an AI-powered intelligence platform and consulting service for consumer products. Their aim is to build real-time and strategic insights to provide actionable recommendations to increase sales and effectiveness at a global scale.This company partners with some of the largest names in retail and FMCG companies and processes trillions of data points for their clients to provide end-to-end analytical techniques.

**THE ROLE**

As the Head of Machine Learning, you will be responsible for:

- Taking ML to the next level and leading the team to deploy ML into squads to increase competitive advantage.
- Improving the process of how the team deploys and working closely with the engineering team
- Building a new analytics platform for the Data Science team to efficiently access all necessary data
- Influence Data Science by improving and optimising the tooling
- Managing the team and ensuring best Data Science and Machine Learning practices are used to optimise and innovate the platform
- Financial results and budgeting
- Line management (the team is based in the U.K and split with other European countries)
- Collaborating closely with other teams (Product, Data & Tech, Science)

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

As a Head of Machine Learning, you must have:

- Specialism in Machine Learning
- Proficiency in Cloud computing
- Led a multi-disciplinary team
- Worked with a multinational team
- Proven experience with deployment and engineering
- MSc or PhD in STEM discipline
