We pay a good rate for the driven movement market and want to ensure a good work / life balance.** Experience working as a Trade Plate Driver is preferred but not essential as full training and ongoing support will be provided. This role involves delivering vehicles on trade plates from one location to another across the UK as well as conducting vehicle inspections. No two days are the same here at A.H. Vehicle Logistics as as you could be delivering anywhere across the UK - Applicants should be over 25 for insurance requirements, be presentable, have a good knowledge of the UK roads. - Have held a **UK driving licence** for over 3 years, with no more than 6 points. - Not been banned from driving for any reason within the last 5 years. - **MUST **have secure off street parking or a driveway. - You will plan your own travel between drop off and collection points by either using public transport or working with another team member, _generally at your own expense_. - You will regularly be meeting with customers to deliver vehicles in person and therefore strong customer service skills are essential. - You will benefit from extensive training and work alongside a dedicated transport team who allocate the work load in advance and keep in touch with you throughout the day. - A fuel card, trade plates and insurance is all provided for you to carry out the role (uniform will be provided after 8 weeks). This is not a typical 9-5 role and your working week can be approximately 45-60 hours a week with early morning starts from approximately 4am - 5am everyday (this is dependant on where your first vehicle is to be delivered) but the financial return is worth it. We offer: - Very competitive rates of pay, approx £450 to £600 per week paid weekly in arrears. - No hidden charges for trade plate hire etc. - Individual planners who work directly with you. - 24 hour backroom support from people that have done the job themselves. - Company uniform (after 8 weeks) - Loan of a tablet containing our bespoke app for processing collection and delivery information if required (a _deposit will be taken in instalments to protect us from loss/damage_).
