The Cambridge Primary Team are looking for experienced educators to begin an exciting new role in a mainstream school in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

Do you have experience working with and supporting young pupils with autism? Are you looking for school working hours on a full time basis? If this is the case, then we might have something just for you

This 'Good' School in the Huntingdon area are looking for a support assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with an ASC student, 5 days of the week. The hours of work are within school hours but may finish sooner than the full school day due to the pupil’s routine.

In your role, you will be expected to have:

- Strong levels of patience and professionalism when supporting the pupil
- De-escalation or manual handling training is a desirable trait for this post
- Training/previous experience supporting pupils with Autism
- Your own transport
- Autism Awareness training would be beneficial but is not essential
- The ability to work from 8:30-15:30 - 3 days a week, this can be flexible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
