An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Digital User Researcher to join their welcoming team. As a Digital User Researcher, you will be supporting the government department in implementing more effective digital services that will have a positive impact on public services and transform the future of millions of people.

**The Digital User Researcher Role**:

- Responsible for leading research projects working with a multidisciplinary team to meet business requirements
- Bring yourself up to date with the current research and create a pathway to progress the work
- To be an integral part of the creation, of user research from the planning through to conducting user research through various resources including guerrilla testing, user testing, focus groups and workshops, persona creation and card sorting
- To liaise with colleagues across the business in order to review findings and identify similarities in user feedback and create recommendations to relevant departments of the business
- Utilise your knowledge of user-centred design
- To liaise with colleague in design and analysis to develop the service based on the user feedback
- Liaise with usability and market research agencies to meet business requirements
- To mentor junior members of the team and support them with their learning and development
- To exceed in an agile environment and ensure high standard of research is achieved

**What the Digital User Researcher will need**:

- Minimum of 5 years of qualitative research methodologies experience
- Strong experience leading user research
- Ability/experience managing a team
- Good agile project environment experiences
- Good knowledge of web user centred design practices
- Gathering user requirements experience for web based service
- Good experience conducting test and research sessions
- Strong ability in agile development environments working alongside
- User Experience teams, designers and developers
- Audience modelling/design personas experience
- Strong knowledge of research methodologies
- Proven experience working alongside Service Design and Data Science teams
