Gambit Search are working with a global accountancy firm with the hire of a Corporate Insolvency Administrator to join their Corporate Insolvency team based in Leeds.

The firm prides themselves in their culture and is offering opportunities to pursue further professional qualifications in accounting and insolvency in the future.

You will be involved in the day-to-day dealings of corporate insolvency portfolios. Your responsibilities will include:

- Able to analyse bank statements and other primary sources of information (books and records) using basic Excel and other tools and to offer reasoned conclusions by creating accurate file notes
- Able to research basic company information, ie Companies House and Land Registry
- Liaise with insurers, solicitors and agents and provides information when requested
- Prepare and file appropriately statutory documents on appointment and throughout the case including statutory reporting
- Prepare receipts and payments accounts and maintains clear and up to date cash books
- Analyses and collates fee data to support billing and remuneration reporting
- Maintains well organised paper and electronic filing
- Processes basic unsecured creditor claims including leasing, hire purchase and utility creditors and controlling large mail out of creditors' circulars
- Provides input in the preparation of VAT returns and VAT reclaims

To be successful, you will have:

- A Levels (or equivalent)
- A keen interest in insolvency and asset recovery
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated time management skills

It would be beneficial to have a degree at 2:1 or above and some corporate insolvency experience, although these factors are not essential.
