Delivery Driver/warehouse Operative

Working for a small but busy plumbers merchant's delivering orders to customers homes and to site using our 3.5 tonne lorry with tail lift. You will require a clean licence for a minimum of three years.

Branch duties will involve receiving, checking and putting away goods incoming and picking customers orders for delivery. Maintaining good practice warehouse skills at all times. Using basic computer skills to book goods in.

Serving on the counter in a back up role after training only.

You will need to be clean, tidy and have a cheery disposition.

If successful you will need to complete a company online test and provide a minimum of two professional references.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
We have all appropriate PPE within the branch and in the van.
The premises are sprayed on a regular basis to help keep Covid at bay.
The counter and showroom have sneeze guards and we limit the amount of people entering the branch at any given time.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stevenage SG1 2AF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- driving: 3 years (required)
