Night Substance Misuse Support Worker

We are currently looking for experienced, talented, compassionate, dynamic and committed Substance Misuse Support Worker to join our night team. Ideally you will have approximately two years’ experience working in a substance misuse and/or care setting - experience in a residential setting would be an advantage but is not essential.

A minimum qualification of Level 2 Health & Social Care, or equivalent would be an advantage as is a caring, consistent, reliable, inclusive and creative person-centred approach to all the work that you do.

You must be able to evidence excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate and able to develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with colleagues as well as being willing to go the extra mile at all times. You will be resilient and vigilant and either an in-depth knowledge of our client group, or a strong willingness and ability to learn quickly. You will value individuality and diversity, and support rights, needs, choices and dreams. Experience of completing basic checks and observations would be an advantage but not imperative if willing to learn.

Your role will be to work alongside the team, helping to admit new clients to the centre and supporting them during their time with us, maintaining dignity and confidentiality at all times, completing paperwork and assessments, answering telephone calls, thinking on your feet and general office duties.

We are looking for 2 x night shift (20:00 - 8:00am) on a shift pattern.

**Salary**: £11.65 per hour
