**Position Overview**: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Accounts Payable Specialist** to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Enter and maintain vendor information in the accounting system.
- Reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audits.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
