**Senior Accounts Assistant - Grimsby - up to £28,000**

**Part time Accounts Assistant Responsibilities**:

- Raising and processing daily sales invoices, ensuring correct pricing
- Processing of credit notes and debit notes
- Checking, reconciling and processing supplier bills
- Assisting with processing payments
- Preparing weekly cashflow and payment schedules
- Monitoring accounts receivables, allocation of customer receipts and managing credit control
- Weekly and monthly bank reconciliation
- Monthly reporting of accounts receivable and accounts payables
- Preparing, reviewing and completing VAT returns and other statutory or regulatory forms
- Managing employee expense claims
- Journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assisting in preparing and circulating periodic reports
- Help produce trial balances and assist with preparation of year-end accounts

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- AAT Qualified (minimum Level 2) or equivalent
- Minimum five years of previous experience
- Experience of working within an FMCG/ manufacturing business would be a significant advantage
- Highly numerate and organised
- Strong IT skills and ability to manage data
- IT literate and knowledge of accounting systems
- Organised and flexible approach to work, with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
