Work as part of a friendly team to carry out various housekeeping duties in a hospital.

Your main aim will be to efficiently undertake cleaning tasks in the hospital, in accordance with the recommended standards and guidelines.

**You will also**:

- Follow a cleaning schedule to ensure that the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained throughout the hospital.
- Carry out various cleaning tasks, including pre-planned rotor tasks and deep cleaning of infected areas and equipment.
- Ensure that materials and equipment are maintained and used correctly.
- Ensure that trust policies and standards are met at all times.
- Assist in other domestic service tasks including the receipt and storage of linen and food deliveries, meal distribution and general upkeep of the ward/unit.

**To succeed in this role you will need**:

- Experience in a similar role or environment
- A focus on high standards of Health and Safety
- To be self motivated, conscientious and good at solving problems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The flexibility to work shifts, including weekends
