Join our dispatch team at On a Roll Sandwich Company as our Picking Team Leader. This is a newly created role to support our growing warehousing operations. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the accurate picking and packing of food-to-go items for distribution to various sectors. The role is based in our purpose-built production facility in Middlesbrough and you will play a crucial role in ensuring the on time and in full delivery of our products to customers across the UK.

**What you will be doing**
- Efficiently lead a team in the picking and packing of customer orders within a temperature-controlled environment
- Supervise the flow of picks through the dispatch area to guarantee timely handover to our transport team
- Monitor pick accuracy and promptly address any discrepancies
- Supporting with team rotas, holiday approvals, and involvement in HR processes
- Uphold health and safety, hygiene, and food safety standards in your work area
- Enforce GMP (good manufacturing practice) and maintain high levels of housekeeping

**About You**
- Prior experience in goods out/dispatch with a track record of supervising teams
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, ideally within the FMCG sector
- Comfortable PC user, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in order picking processes is essential

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £13.19 per hour
