**The Opportunity**:
This Research Associate position will contribute to the project “ Fluid Mechanics of Wettability-Patterned Liquid Surfaces” within the Institute for Multiscale Thermofluids at the University of Edinburgh, which is funded by The Leverhulme Trust and in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Durham.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Record of research in experimental interfacial science and engineering, with a specific focus on wetting or a closely related area.
- Demonstrable experience of construction of experimental set-ups.
- Demonstrable experience in developing tools or systems for data analysis.
- Knowledge of experimental microfluidics techniques.
- Knowledge of clean-room techniques.

This role is UE07 and is available on a full-time, fixed-term basis for up to 36 months.
