Billing Specialist

Altum are excited to partner with a global Real Estate company to find them a Billing Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company and become a key part of their continued strategic growth.
Reporting to the Billing Manager, you will become a key part of the accounts receivable team. You will be required to maintain good relationships with clients and ensure all records are accurate at all times.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Invoicing clients for fixed and ad hoc charges and e.g license fees, service charges
- Ensure billing is accurate and in accordance with the highest standards
- Manage any finance queries maintaining excellent service
- Update billing schedules, reconciliations, billing systems and question abnormalities
- Develop relationships with clients, assemble teams and drive sales
- Aid the production of the management accountants and financial reports
- Revise debit proposals, discuss any changes with the Billing Manager
- Convey any issues to the Billing Manager e.g., reconciliations or client problems
- Handle terminations and deposit returns
- Confirm any overdue monies are properly accounted for.
- Any ad hoc tasks
**Key Skills**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Educated to A level or higher
- Previous experience in a volume driven receivables function
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills e.g., Excel, Word
- Knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign
- Multi-site experience
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Strong analytical skills
- Team player, personable, and proactive
