We are looking for a Van Driver to operate and drive Company vehicles in a legal, efficient and considerate manner with the purpose of delivering products to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete Legal vehicle checks & basic maintenance on a daily basis.
- Oversee & load vehicles with particular consideration for weight & load distribution, ensuring this is in line with plating certificate of the vehicle.
- Secure load to ensure load does not move during transit and cause damage to goods, paying particular attention to kitchen units.
- Load goods against a picking list to ensure nothing is left behind, especially if loading from both sites.
- Operate vehicle in line with legal requirements.
- Deliver to customer & ensure accuracy of delivery
- Accurate and detailed completion of paperwork & customer acceptance/sign off ensuring timely return of paperwork to head office.
- Take responsibility for general tidiness & cleanliness of Company vehicle.

**Skills and Attributes**:

- Hold a clean driving license for more than 3 years. C1 Driving License/Entitlement beneficial
- Beneficial - Have a current Driver Card (Driver CPC Qualification) or be prepared to undertake required training to obtain Driver CPC qualification (if holder of C1 driving license)
- Experienced in driving goods vehicles, namely vans - required and trucks (beneficial) to 7.5t GVW
- Should be methodical with attention to detail for accurate load/delivery checking.
- Positive & self-motivated with a ‘Can Do’ attitude.
- Confident & professional with customer facing experience.
- Demonstrate advanced & safe driving skills.
- Holding a current CSCS card beneficial but not mandatory.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £29,783.00-£31,225.00 per year
