About our Proposal Writer role
Our Proposal team at Sage are constantly striving to achieve the Gold Standard in visual impact and writing flair.
With a focus on truly putting the customer first the Proposal Writer will work with a team of Proposal Managers and Technical Writers to convert insights from Account Executives and Solution Consultants to support solving real customer problems

Summary of your day-to-day?
Leading storyboard sessions to define core messaging and document flow to enable you to write and edit persona-based content with precision, poise and purpose in order to convey a high impact value message. Interpreting and contributing to value tools such as Value Chain Analysis, Stakeholder Maps and ROI as well as deploying your excellent research skills in order to create rock-solid value cases.
Minimum qualifications
- You capitalise on your curiosity for customers and have a well-practiced customer-centric approach to writing
- You are keen to help build momentum with customers based on where they are in their decision cycle
- You are tenacious in growing and sharing the bank of knowledge that allows colleagues to create value propositions quickly
- You have good knowledge around fiscal requirements and how businesses operate which means you can help build compelling business cases
- You understand the importance of 'decision making criteria' and can use them to create compelling reasons to act
