**The Role**:
Our Sales Assistants must be prepared to work within a fast-paced retail environment and hit the ground running whilst demonstrating the following skills;
- Provide a high standard of service to customers, assisting with inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Stay informed about the store’s products, promotions, and seasonal offers to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Assist customers in locating and selecting products, upselling, or cross-selling items to increase sales.
- Help with restocking shelves, ensuring products are properly displayed, and maintaining a neat and organized sales floor.
- Ensure product displays are visually appealing and in line with store standards, adjusting as necessary.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, handle payments, and issue receipts accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including tidying up product displays.
- Adhere to store health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Previous work experience preferred (but not essential.)
- Quick and eager to learn.
- Customer focused approach.
- The ability to work well within a team as well as using own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible, dynamic, energetic, with a positive outlook.
