We are actively recruiting for Production/Manufacturing Operatives to join our clients expanding assembly team in Newton Aycliffe. This company is well-known for its reputation in delivering premium-quality finished products to its valued customers.

A company who are committed to retaining staff; this role offers opportunity to be employed permanently by the client upon successful completion of the statutory training period of 3 months.

**Role Overview**:
This role will play a crucial part in the assembly process and requires a high degree of manual dexterity performing a variety of manual tasks to produce high-quality products. Duties include:

- Line loading, using material handling principles to ensure stock is available and correctly stored to feed assembly.
- Performing manual tasks in the manufacturing process, such as assembly, testing, or labelling.
- Inspecting parts for defects or imperfections and ensuring that they meet quality standards.
- Following standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Testing finished products to ensure they function correctly.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a manual assembly or production role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Rates**:

- £12 per hour (£23,400 per annum).
- Overtime is regularly available at the rates of £18 and £24ph, providing opportunity to maximise earnings.
- Holidays accrued and paid in addition.

**Hours of Work**:

- Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 16:30 with a 14.00 finish on a Friday.
- All breaks are fully paid.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
