We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to lead our efforts in ensuring the safety and well-being of our pupils and their families. You will have operational responsibility for child protection across the school, working closely with the Headteacher to maintain a secure environment in line with the latest "Keeping Children Safe in Education" guidelines. You will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will provide regular reports to both the SLT and the School Governing Body on safeguarding outcomes, while offering advice and support on a range of leadership and management matters that influence the school’s overall provision and operations. In additional, you will undertake duties to improve the life outcomes and opportunities for the children and their families by providing a range of family support interventions and activities. You will provide targeted support to families and carers, helping them access vital information and benefits while engaging them in activities that enhance their children’s learning. Also, you will play a key role in supporting parents with parenting skills, offering guidance through one-to-one support and parent workshops. As Pastoral Lead, you will play a vital role in inter-agency meetings, contribute to child assessments, and provide expert advice and support to staff on welfare matters.
