**Salary: £40,000 plus 10% bonus**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)**

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Business Support team in a newly created role as a Governance and Quality Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to take on a key role within a successful and growing business.

The Governance and Quality Officer will run the Governance and Quality processes at the company whilst also monitoring the risk and incident reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and ISO27001.

The role requires an individual to be always hard-working and enthusiastic and have the flexibility to work both in a team as well as under their own initiative, with a drive to succeed within a high-pressure environment.

**A bit about the role**

Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

- Monitor the risk and incident reporting processes for the Company and provide a monthly report to the Governance and Quality Forum
- Establishing ISO compliant processes and documentation and managing the ISO9001 and ISO27001 registration process for the Company
- Managing the accreditations for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus and any other relevant corporate governance accreditations
- Develop, monitor, implement and review policies and procedures to promote and develop best practice information governance
- Act as the specialist in relation to information governance and fulfil the roles of Nominated Lead for Information Governance, Information Security and Data Protection.
- To maintain the Data Protection registration with the Information Commissioner and other mandatory accreditations.
- Ensure that robust systems are in place for the identification, management, reporting, investigation and learning from information governance incidents and information security breaches
- Completing investigation reports in the event of a data breach and presenting these to the Board
- Completing Data Protection Impact Assessments and questionnaires from customers to ensure compliance with their data protection requirements

**A bit about you**
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Knowledge of salary sacrifice schemes and HMRC guidelines is desirable
- Self-motivated and ability to prioritise a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail orientation and the ability to pay attention and identify changes in regulations
- Ability to multitask and work to conflicting deadlines
- Forward planning and developing new processes
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, enthusiastic and ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to build successful relationships
- Systems - MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Teams.
