**Job Opportunity - Executive Assistant / Administrator**

Venn Group are currently working on a position with a highly-regarded education organisation, based in Cambridgeshire, to source an EA/Administrator for the following assignment:
**Executive Assistant/Administrator**

Location: Cambridgeshire (hybrid working)

Contract: 3-4 months

Rate: £16.07 per hour plus holiday pay

Hours: Flexible

**Your duties will include**:

- Handling urgent and confidential matters with discretion and diligence in a timely manner
- Planning and managing diaries across all of the team’s commitments and responsibilities, liaise as appropriate with other departments
- Setting up a wide range of complex internal and external meetings both in and around the organisation
- Manage their schedule of meetings to achieve an appropriate balance of commitments across the working day, manage follow up activities
- Taking diary and administrative decisions on behalf of the team, both in their absence and to minimise the amount of time they spend dealing with basic enquiries, e.g. setting deadlines for incoming material, selecting who to deal with correspondence, diarypriorities, preparing briefing notes etc.
- Undertaking preliminary research using a wide range of information sources
- Reading papers from committees and key meetings, prepare briefing notes and summarise headlines for the members of the team, prepare/draft presentations for committees, produce draft correspondence, ensure papers are received/prepared, attend meetings,prepare agendas, take minutes, circulate actions, follow up actions
- High level of diligence, meticulousness, and complete discretion on confidential matters
- Experience as an Executive Assistant and Administrator
- Experience of taking and transcribing formal minutes
- Providing diary management to an Executive
- Some experience of providing management assistant for small/medium sized projects
- Computer literacy with advanced experience of working with all Microsoft Office packages
- Demonstrable time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work under pressure and problem solve in high pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills
