Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom Sage Full time

At Sage, we believe cybersecurity should feel human, empowering every colleague to thrive confidently and securely at work. We’re building a culture where security isn’t a barrier, but a superpower. And that’s where you come in.

As our People-Centred Security Associate, you’ll help bring this vision to life. You’ll be part of the team that turns security awareness into real-world confidence, helping over 11,000 Sage colleagues around the world understand, care about, and champion safe digital habits.

You’ll play a hands-on role in delivering creative awareness campaigns, engaging communications, and learning experiences that make cybersecurity approachable and even enjoyable. Whether it’s coordinating a global training programme, welcoming new Security Champions, or helping to run a cyber roadshow, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to make security second nature for everyone.

You’ll also work closely with our Internal Communications and Global Security teams, gathering insights, tracking what works, and finding new ways to keep our colleagues informed, engaged, and inspired.

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days a week from our Newcastle office.

** Key Responsibilities**

What You’ll Do:

- Help bring our people-centred security strategy to life through campaigns, training, and events that make cybersecurity relatable and relevant.
- Support the growth of our Security Champions community, helping onboard new members and coordinate engaging activities and learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams across Sage to share important security messages in a way that fits our culture and values.
- Track and celebrate progress — using data and feedback to understand what’s landing well and where we can do even better.
- Represent Sage in the wider cyber community by supporting partnerships, events, and industry collaborations.
- Be a friendly go-to for colleagues seeking guidance on staying secure, connecting them with the right resources and support.

What We’re Looking For:
You’re curious, collaborative, and passionate about people. Maybe you’ve worked in communications, learning, security, or engagement — or maybe you just love helping others understand complex topics in simple, human ways.

You don’t need to be a cybersecurity expert; what matters most is your enthusiasm to learn and your drive to make a difference.

Why Join Us?

At Sage, we put people first — always. You’ll be joining a supportive, forward-thinking team where your ideas will be heard and your growth encouraged. You’ll help shape a global security culture that’s empowering, inclusive, and genuinely human.

Because at Sage, security isn’t just about technology — it’s about people.

Benefits? We've got plenty
- Generous bonuses and pension scheme: Up to 8% matched pension contribution plus 2% top-up by Sage.
- 25 days of paid annual leave with the option to buy up to another 5 days
