Shutter Fitter

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable fitter to join our family run business, on a part time basis, based throughout the Buckinghamshire and Berkshire area. Earnings of up to £30-£40k achievable. Commission pay on sales and overtime possibility.

Provided with award-winning training on both the products and installation - fitters will be equipped with a branded van, uniform and tools to conduct household visits fitting high-end, premium shutters and blinds for customers in a variety of window and door openings. Previous experience working with shutters or blinds isn’t necessary, but desirable. Some experience with joinery is desirable however to be adept in DIY, with practical experience is also acceptable. Shuttercraft is a network of franchises across the UK installing premium made-to-measure, S: CRAFT shutters and blinds. Each franchise is managed by a business owner who employs their own team with the support of a head office team based in Winchester
**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Collect and install shutters and blinds in customers’ homes to an exceptional standard
- Demonstrate a very high standard of customer service in people’s homes/properties solving problems and managing expectations
- Manage a diary to plan installations throughout the week/weekends efficiently
- Maintain regular communication with office team/owner to maintain clarity on jobs
- Brand responsibility wearing a smart, clean uniform and maintaining the appearance of business equipment such as the van
- Ensuring business knowledge is up to date by attending training and networking sessions regarding products and sales
**Qualifications**
- DIY aptitude
- Full UK drivers license and van
- Friendly and personable customer-facing individual
- Strong communicator
- Proactive problem solver
- Experienced time and diary planning skills
- Ability to work independently to a busy schedule
- Experience in shutter installation
- Qualifications in joinery or trade skills not essential, but preferable

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
