On behalf of **Crown Commercial Services**, we are looking for a **Junior Content Designer** (Inside IR35) for for a contract up to 31st march 2025 based **in Birmingham, Liverpool or Newport (1-2 days per week on site, remainder WFH/remote)**

**As a Junior Content Designer your main responsibilities will be**:

- To manage several user-centered design projects from end-to-end in support of the team's contribution to the CCS business plan
- To confidently explain content choices to colleagues and stakeholders, often making use of data to demonstrate user needs and how they should be met
- To identify opportunities for to improve content, exploring them with data and evidence
- To support with aspects of the day-to-day publishing workflow for the CCS website
- Advising colleagues across the organisation on content best practice, style and tone

**Essential criteria**:

- Excellent writing, editorial and proofreading skills, with the ability to diligently follow a style guide
- Experience of using content management systems to publish web content (for example Wordpress or Whitehall publisher)
- Able to use a multitude of research and data to inform decisions and report on their success
- Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders on a regular basis to improve and maintain content

**Desirable criteria**:

- Knowledge of Government Digital Service design guidance
- Knowledge of public procurement
